DTF (Direct to Film) or DFT (Digital Film Transfer) Ink is a specialized type of ink used for printing onto PET film before being heat-transferred onto garments or other materials. This ink is highly pigmented and water-resistant, producing sharp, vibrant, and durable prints.
Additional Details:
How It Works:
DTF ink is first printed onto PET film, then coated with adhesive powder. The film is then heat-cured to melt the powder and bond it to the ink. When pressed onto the target material, the ink and adhesive transfer to the surface, forming the desired design.
Advantages:
Compatible with Various Materials:
Can be used on a wide range of fabrics, both light and dark-colored.
Vibrant, Sharp, and Durable Prints:
DTF ink delivers bright, vivid colors with sharp details that are long-lasting and resistant to peeling.
No Screen Setup Required:
Eliminates the need for screen-making, saving time and effort.
Suitable for Both Small and Large Print Runs:
Ideal for short runs, custom orders, and mass production alike.
Limitations:
Requires Heat Pressing:
A heat press is necessary to transfer the design onto the material.
