Dry-Sublimation Ink is a type of ink specifically designed for sublimation printers, utilizing sublimation printing technology. It comes in four base colors: CCrayon, MMagenta, YYellow, and HDKBlack. These are the primary colors used in sublimation printing.
Sublimation ink works through a heat-based printing process that transforms the ink into gas, allowing it to transfer and bond directly onto the material a process commonly referred to in the printing industry as "transfer printing". This results in high-quality output with smooth, vivid, and durable color that becomes one with the surface. Sublimation ink is ideal for applications requiring long-lasting results, sharp details, and vibrant color.
Thanks to its high concentration, sublimation ink delivers excellent color clarity and strong adhesion to the substrate. High-quality sublimation ink will not produce sediment, which could otherwise damage the printer or compromise the final product.
Precautions & Storage Guidelines for Sublimation Ink:
- Do not store the ink in areas where the temperature exceeds 30°C.
- Avoid direct exposure to sunlight during storage.
- Do not store ink for long periods, as it has an expiration date that could negatively affect the printhead.
- Always purchase ink from a trusted supplier to ensure you are using high-quality ink and avoiding low-grade alternatives.
